Aged 44, Amy was more than just a ministry leader, entrepreneur, and bookkeeper. She was a loving wife and a nurturing mother, whose love ran deep and touched all lives she came across.
Amy had a penchant for the 1980s, New Kids on the Block, and seasonal celebrations, particularly autumn and Christmas. Her love for films was evident in her admiration for classics like License to Drive, Pretty in Pink, Can’t Buy Me Love, and Girl’s Just Want to Have Fun. She also enjoyed modern romantic tales like The Notebook and Titanic, and the iconic television show Friends.
Amy’s sense of humor was another facet of her vibrant personality. Comedians such as Trey Kennedy, Tim Hawkins, and John Crist were among her favorites. And like many of us, she was a fan of Chick-fil-A.
However, above all else, Amy was a devout believer. God’s word was her life’s foundation, a torch at her feet and a guiding light on her path.
