‘Badla lega tera Chiku’: Fan’s placard during Ind vs NZ World Cup match goes viral

In a riveting encounter at the scenic Dharamsala stadium, Virat Kohli delivered a stellar performance, scoring 95 runs and leading India to a four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. This marked India’s first triumph over the Kiwi team in an ICC event in twenty years.
A photograph that has since gone viral on social media features a man brandishing a placard. A Twitter user named Shubh posted the image with the caption, “King Kohli today’s pre-workout before batting.” The placard, held by an ardent fan of the Indian team, reads, “Baap ka Dada ka, Mahi Bhai ke Run out ka, Sabka Badla Lega Tera Chiku.”
Now, if you have watched ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, you will be pretty familiar with the dialogue – Baap ka, dada ka, bhai ka. sabka badla lega re, tera Faizal. In case you aren’t, well, this dialogue is said by Nawauddin Siddiqui in the second movie of the Wasseypur series.
The cricket fan gave his own twist to the dialogue.
