IndiGo airhostess surprises IPS officer with vrat-friendly snacks for Navratri

Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Arun Bothra experienced a heartwarming gesture while travelling on an IndiGo flight. He shared the touching incident on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the kindness of a flight attendant named Purvi during his journey.
As Arun Bothra was observing a fast for the Navratri festival, he had declined the in-flight snacks. However, when Purvi, the thoughtful flight attendant, learned about his fasting, she decided to go the extra mile to ensure his comfort.
She returned with ‘vrat’-friendly snacks, including sabudana chips and til chikki, which are permitted during fasting. What’s more, she refused to charge him for these special snacks, revealing that she was also fasting. “Mother Divine takes care of you in different forms. Today she came as Purvi, an @IndiGo6E crew member,” read the caption.

To make the moment even more special, Purvi handed Bothra a note that read, “It was a pleasure having you onboard with us today. May Navdurga bless you with abundance”. Bothra was deeply touched by the considerate gesture and shared a photo of the snacks and the note on social media.
In response to the heartwarming incident, IndiGo commented on Bothra’s post, stating, “Purvi’s act exemplifies the spirit of care and understanding we strive to embody. Your words are greatly appreciated and will be shared with Purvi. We look forward to serving you again on your future journeys. Best wishes during Navratri.”
People were impressed with the flight attendant’s kind gesture.
This heartwarming story is a reminder of how small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day, even at 30,000 feet in the air.
